The menu will be a combination of recipes from our special culinary guests: Najmieh Batmanglij, author of Cooking in Iran: Regional Recipes and Kitchen Secrets and Louisa Shafia, author of The New Persian Kitchen. Our very own executive chefs Gerald Addison and Chris Morgan will be executing a holiday menu they created together with the authors.
Our honored guests and friends, Jason and Yeganeh Rezaian will be joining us for this event. Jason's recent book, Prisoner: My 544 Days in an Iranian Prison--Solitary Confinement, a Sham Trial, High-Stakes Diplomacy, and the Extraordinary Efforts It Took to Get Me Out, will be on sale as well.
All of the authors' books will be on sale during the event and they will be available for autographs.
Tickets are all inclusive at $175/person. They include food, wine pairings as well as tax and gratuity. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Hostage US.
