Miriam's Kitchen Benefit
Every day, while we're dishing up lamb ribs and shrubs in Adams Morgan, the chefs at Miriam's Kitchen are hovering over their own ovens in Foggy Bottom, thoughtfully crafting meals from scratch to serve those in need. The venues may be different, but the commitment to hospitality is the same - from using locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients to making every guest feel at home.

Join us on Tuesday, September 5th as we come together under one roof to do what we do best in support of Miriam's work to end chronic homelessness in DC. We'll be offering a set menu at $150 per person (exclusive of tax, gratuity, and beverage), featuring peaches as the unifying theme.

We'll be joined by industry friends with Peter Pastan (Etto + 2 Amys), and Sam Adkins (Sally's Middle Name) all contributing dishes alongside our own Jon Sybert and Cheryl Bell (of Tail Up Goat and Miriam's).

Vegetarian alternatives will be available for all of the dishes, and we'll be offering pairings to accompany the meal. Reservations go live via our website on Tuesday, August 8th at 10:00am. Unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate any dietary restriction other than the vegetarian version of the dinner. The dinner will include meat, seafood, shellfish, poultry, nuts, and gluten.

Everyone from servers to cooks will be donating their time, 100% of each dinner sold along with profits from all beverages and gratuities from the evening will be donated to benefit Miriam's programming.

To quote MFK Fisher: "We must eat. If, in the face of that dread fact, we can find other nourishment and tolerance and compassion for it, we'll be no less full of human dignity. There is a communion of more than our bodies when bread is broken and wine drunk." Come celebrate that communion with us in service of a noble cause for what promises to be a very memorable night.

Any reservation canceled after Saturday, September 2nd will be charged a $100 cancellation fee which will be donated to Miriam's Kitchen.

Hope to see you there,

Bill, Jon, & Jill
